THEME

The theme of this story is an adventure to the land nowhere called Narnia.

CHARACTERS AND CHARACTERISATIONS

  • Peter Pevensie
Wise, Reliable , Responsible, and brave

He protected his siblings from the beginning until the end. He also led the war against the witch.

  • Susan Pevensie
Gentle, warm hearted

She cared about her younger sister's feelings. She also took care of her.

  • Edmund Pevensie
Stubborn, easily deceived, selfish, greedy

He was so greedy that he almost sacrificed his siblings to obtain foods.

  • Lucy Pevensie
Innocent, generous, cheerful, helpful

She helped her brother although her brother wasn't a kind brother to her.

  • Aslan The Lion
Wise, smart

He protected and guided the four children to defeat the witch.

  • Jadis the witch
Selfish, cruel, greedy

She used her power to gain wealth and power upon Narnia.
  • Mr.Tumnus the Faun
Kind , honest

Although he knew about Lucy's presence in Narnia, he didn't bring her to the witch.He even helped her to come back to the cupboard.

  • The Beavers
Kind, helpful

They helped the children to find the way to Aslan, thus they could save Narnia from the witch.


PLOT

The plot of this story is progressive plot. The story started when Lucy found the wardrobe and ended when they defeated the witch.


SETTING

This story takes place in a land of nowhere called Narnia where the situation is chaotic due to the existence of Jadis, the witch.

POINT OF VIEW

This story uses 3rd person omniscient point of view.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie are evacuated from London in 1940, to escape the Blitz, and sent to live with Professor Digory Kirke at a large house in the English countryside. While exploring the house, Lucy enters a wardrobe and discovers the magical world of Narnia. Here, she meets the faun named Tumnus, whom she addresses as "Mr. Tumnus". Tumnus invites her to his cave for tea and admits that he intended to report Lucy to the White Witch, the false ruler of Narnia who has kept the land in perpetual winter, but he repents and guides her back home. Although Lucy's siblings initially disbelieve her story of Narnia, Edmund follows her into the wardrobe and winds up in a separate area of Narnia and meets the White Witch, who calls herself the Queen of Narnia. The Witch plies Edmund with Turkish delight and persuades him to bring his siblings to her with the promise of being made a prince. Edmund reunit...
